Hello, my name is Jake Vella. I am 13 and I am applying for motocross, supercross sponsorship for next season.
At the age of 5, my parents got me my Australian motocross licence and joined the Cessnock Mini Bike Club. At the age of 7 my dad bought me a KTM 50, which I rode at Cessnock and Lake Maquarie and won many club ,state titles.
In 2003, my family and I moved up onto 10 acres in the Hunter Valley so I could take my supercross dream to the next level. The next 2 years my family had money issues so I didn't do too much racing but it gave us time to build a supercross track to train on. In 2007, my parents split up which made me concentrate on my dream.
Last year, me and my dad travelled all over Australia, including Adelaide, Coolum, Gold Coast, Wagga Wagga, and next week I will be competing in the Groms On The Gas, which I'm aiming to win. I will not stop racing 'till I fulfil my dream.
